Research Prove Benefits of Napping

A study published in the Endocrine Society's Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism prove that napping has benefits for the body especially for the lack of sleep last night. Needless to long, just 30 minutes can help relieve stress and boost the immune system.

The researchers say that this should be done, especially for those who lack of sleep last night. "Based on our data, it is recommended nap for 30 minutes to restore the hormone that decreases due to the lack of sleep last night," said researchers from the Université Paris-Sorbonne Paris Cité Descartes, Dr. Brice Faraut.

Researchers claim that this is the first study to find that a nap can restore neuroendocrine biomarkers that can boost immunity returned to normal levels as reported by the Daily Mail on Thursday (02/12/2015).

The study examined hubunungan between hormones and sleep in 11 participants sex men aged 25-32 years. They were asked to sleep enough and lack of sleep were then asked to take a nap on the next day.

In each study session, urine and saliva taken then conduct an analysis of the impact of hormones due to nap.

Lack of sleep at night turned out to have an impact on the level of interleukin-6, a protein found in saliva. However, when the next day this man nap, can normalize the levels of interleukin-6. It is better be good to increase endurance.
